Join us for this complimentary, educational webinar about EOBR requirements and the upcoming changes expected to impact trucking executives across the country. In mid December, the Department of Transportation expects to publish additional regulations requiring more fleets to use EOBRs (electronic onboard recorders). The FMCA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) recently issued a ruling requiring carriers with poor hours-of-service compliance to use EOBRs but said that future regulations could require more fleets to use EOBRs. Recently, the FMCSA ordered JBS Carriers to Install EOBRs on its Entire Fleet of Commercial Trucks for Violating Hours-of-Service and Other Federal Safety Regulations and pay $81,000 in fines. In this webinar we’ll discuss both upcoming changes expected with EOBR regulations and strategies to ensure you’re trucking company is ready to address them. Topics include:
* What are EOBRs and HOS Recorder Requirements?
* Will regulations require their use?
* What can it mean for your CSA scoring?
* Is the timing of a transition to EOBR’s economically important?
* Do EOBRs violate a driver’s Fourth Amendment right to privacy
